Referral Agreement

  1. General
    1. This agreement applies to Twickets users that are taking part in the Twickets Refer-a-Friend scheme, either as a referrer ('Advocate') or referee ('Friend'). By taking part in the scheme Twickets will provide you with a Reward that takes the form of a promotion code ('Promo Code') that can be used for a subsequent transaction on the Twickets web site.
    2. Rewards are restricted to UK based events only that have been booked through the Twickets website.
    3. The anticipated amount of a Reward will be provided at the time the referral link is generated, however the amount of the Reward will be set at the time of the award and may vary from the amount previously communicated.
    4. Rewards will be capped at the booking fees charged on the transaction to which the Reward is applied.
    5. Rewards have no cash or refund value except when redeemed in accordance with all terms and conditions.
    6. Rewards cannot be returned for cash or its equivalent.
    7. Rewards cannot be applied to the cost of past transactions or other miscellaneous charges.
    8. Rewards issued are valid for a limited period of time specified when the reward is issued, once they have expired a replacement reward will not be issued.
    9. Rewards cannot be combined with any other Promo Codes or offers in a single order.
  2. Advocate Reward
    1. For a referral to be successful, your friend must be 18 or over, they must be a new Twickets customer and they must click your unique Refer-a-Friend link and sign up to the site on that click-through.
    2. The referrer will be notified by email once a referred friend has made a purchase on the Twickets Website.
    3. Any invites sent must be to people you know and have consented to receiving it.
    4. If a referred friend receives referral links from multiple referrers, only the referer associated with the referral link used by the referred friend will receive the referrer Reward.
  3. Friends Reward
    1. For your referral to be successful and for your referrer to receive their referrer Reward you must be 18. You must click your unique Refer-a-Friend link and sign up to the site on that click-through and make a purchase on an event based in the UK.
    2. For a Reward to be eligible, friend must not already have an account with Twickets.
  4. Service misuse
    1. Referrals should only be used for personal and non-commercial purposes. Referral links should not be published or distributed on commercial websites (such as coupon websites, Reddit, or Wikipedia) or on blogs.
    2. Members are prohibited from “spamming” anyone with referral invitations. This includes mass emailing, texting or messaging people you do not know or using automated systems or bots through any channel to distribute your referral link.
    3. Members are prohibited from paying to advertise their referral links.
    4. Members are prohibited from representing themselves as being associated with Twickets in any way.
    5. Rewards are accepted for one friend per new customer. Rewards claimed by both advocates and friends through duplicate accounts are invalid.
    6. We reserve the right to suspend accounts and void promo codes earned through the Refer-a-Friend programme if we notice any activity we believe is abusive, fraudulent or violates Twickets general terms and conditions.
  5. Termination and Changes
    1. Twickets reserves the right to hold, void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Refer-a-Friend programme and its offers, including referral thresholds for both Advocates and Friends where it becomes necessary to do so.
